We hope you have had a great summer holiday time and are refreshed and ready
to face the new season with us. Jane and I enjoyed a well-earned
break and we are looking forward to new members on the site during
this season. For us July was a busy month but August was very quiet
as we expected. Now that the holidays are over people are beginning
to join our site again in reasonable numbers. New photos are always
being uploaded and we are hearing about past members getting married
in the new year.
We expect the latter half of the year to get busier as our site
becomes more visible on the regular searches online. It has been
hard work to begin to achieve this but we are confident that we will
soon have front page listings on all the main search engines. We are
facing a battle to achieve this as a number of non-Christian sites
would dearly like to suck Christians towards them and away from the
genuine Christian sites. Of course we don't believe this can
possibly be a good thing as if they ended up dominating the online
dating market Christians would be forced into whatever they wanted
and also lumped in with all kinds of unsuitable people.
If you haven't checked back recently now is the time. Remember that it is
easy to re-subscribe and immediately begin to email others again. Also remember
that very few people notice profiles that have no profile or who haven't visited
for more than 3 months. We have begun the process of automatically archiving
in-active members but this is still ongoing at this time
Instant payment system
You now have the option of making an instant
payment through Protx rather than by first signing up
to Paypal. Members have been doing this throughout
July and August successfully All you need to do is click through to the
payment page from the members area, click on one of the "subscribe"
options, confirm your price choice and then you will be taken to the
Protx secure payment page. Enter your credit/debit card details here
and when your payment is successful you will be taken back to our
site where your extra days will have been added on. If you want
to spread your payments out you can still do that by clicking
on the "Sign-up to pay by monthly subscription" option.
Just to remind you of our last developments
1) Even if your trial period has ended you can
still log in and search for members.
2) You can
still reply to any mail that you receive.
3) There are still over 2000 UK members to choose from
and new members join daily!
4) You can search so newest
members appear first , saving yourself time if you've already
looked through all the members.
5) You can now make instant
credit/debit card payments without extra sign-up to Paypal. Prices
are still amongst the most competitive around!
6) You need to
remember to log into the site regularly to make sure you don't get
archived (if you leave it for more than a month). Maximise your chances of meeting someone by
adding a photo or video too.
