Steady growth
We now have around 1400 members now on the site, we've seen steady growth over
the last few weeks and this should be improving as our advertising initiatives
begin to take effect. Shortly people will see our link come up near the top
of the major search engines through some sponsored links we are paying for.
We've also begun to mail out laminated flyers for church notice boards. We are
targetting 1000 churches around the country to begin with and are starting in
those areas where we know we have members, so expect to see flyers in your churches
soon!
Site improvements
We constantly aim to improve the site and how it can benefit our members. We
will be adding a member poll feature next week so we can get feedback on what
people think about different issues. Its really a quick snap-poll rather than
anything in-depth. Let us know what questions you would like asked.
Professional photographs
We are now able to offer members of the site a day at New<id studios. What
this means is that you can go up to the West End and spend a morning been pampered
(makeover, styling, manicure etc.) then spend the afternoon with an excellent
fashion photographer. New<id work closely with the fashion industry and in
sport (they also advertise on cable TV) and this day would normally cost you
£250 upwards if you went direct to them but members get this day FREE
only having to pay for any photos you want. Having a good photograph on your
profile is an excellent idea and will really give people the impression you
are serious about meeting someone and have spent time, effort and money to that
end. And remember that even having any photo on your profile means people are
3 to 4 times more likely to look at your profile when they see the photo in
the searches. If you need help uploading just send us the photo and we will
do it for you. If you wonder why you haven't had much mail consider whether
not having a photo may be something to do with it.
Open house at ChristiansUK
On Bank Holiday Monday (31st May) Jane and I are having open-house at 5 Water
Lane. Jane is a qualified beautician and is offering free make-overs to ladies/gentlemen
who would like a makeover followed by a photo which can then be uploaded to
the site. There will be excellent food and we aim to have a nice social time
for those that are able to come. As well as the opportunity to have photos taken
for the site you can have a video clip recorded and uploaded. If you would like

This will be the first of many social events that we will be organising as the
site grows. We do like to talk to our members and will always try to make sure
the way we run the site has a personal touch.
Wedding News
Finally, Thanks to all who wished Jane and myself well for our wedding on 3rd
April. The day went really well and Jane looked amazing!!! We will be putting
a few photos of the day on the site this week so those that attended can see
them. We will also be using the slideshow feature in the future to display photos
of events we run.
