Premium Members 18/10
In response to the growth of the site and our vision for what single Christians in the UK need from an online Christian dating agency we have introduced Premium memberships to the payment options. With this ChristiansUK is offering what regular (non-Internet based) dating agencies offer but with the advantage of our search system and profiles plus our personal service for our members. Instant Payment 30/06
To make it easier for all our members to pay the subscriptions we now have an instant, secure credit/debit card processing system. Using Protx Secure Servers and Barclaycard Merchant Services members have the choice of paying instantly via a Debit or Credit card without a further sign-up process or paying a fixed amount each month by paying through Paypal. We hope the new payment system will prove as popular as the Paypal system.
If any encouragement were needed to continue using our service we are also offering an extra 10% of time with each new paid subscription throughout July and August.

Archiving 30/06
We have begun the process of archiving members accounts that have not logged in for 3 months or more. You will therefore see the main member total go down for a short while. From now on members that do not log in for more than a month will have their accounts archived automatically. Archived accounts can be re-activated simply by logging back in again as normal so if you do not want to disappear from searches remember to log in regularly.
We are hoping to encourage active commitment from our members and this is why we want everyone to log in regularly and also keep their subscriptions up to date.

Chat Room 15/06
ChristiansUK now has a chatroom for members.
This is currently in the test phase but members can use this and give us feedback at the same time. You will soon be able to see each other while you chat as the system detects any webcams that are plugged in so you can have a multimedia experience. If you want to guarantee someone will be online to chat we have decided to schedule regular 7pm (GMT) chats every evening.

View Visitors 29/04
You can now know who has been visiting your profile. Members can click an icon if they like your profile and this sends an email that they have visited. Rather than record everyone who visits you can see who might be interested in you. This is a very new feature so tell us what you think.

SecurFone 18/04
ChristiansUK is now able to provide you with a customisable secure phone number for when you go on dates through the site or at other times. Link this number to your regular mobile phone number and you can screen calls from people you give the number to. You can even list the number on your profile and gain the equivalent of a secure voicemail service which you can cancel or change at any time. Visit the new profile page to find out more. This service is free until 31st July 2005.

Video Profiles 18/04
Video Profiles are now live on the site. All members are able to record their own 30 second video clips using their webcams. Visit the fourth tab on the new profile layout and have a play with the video recorder. This is a great way of making sure everyone gets to see the real you!

New Events 11/4
In response to some excellent feedback we have re-vamped the events listing page.
We now have an easier to use listings page and there are currently nearly 60 events listed this year of all types throughout the country. Check it out!

Pay As You Go 14/2
To give members even more options to pay for their subscriptions we have introduced a £1 per day option to our Pay As You Go choices.
We have also increased the number of new people you can email in one day to 10, so this works out at 10p per message. This now compares favourably to mobile phone text message charges and we hope will prove popular to those who are familiar with communicating with people in this way.

1600 UK Members 08/12
ChristiansUK.com membership has now passed 1600 UK members and many new people sign up every day. Members are also choosing to fully subscribe to the service once their free trial has expired. Previous members should also be aware that they can still enter the site and carry out searches even after their trial has run out but they will be unable to email or respond to emails until the subscription has been paid.
All members can look forward to many new enhancements to the site in the New Year. Along with the range of new features members will be able to upload video clips using their own webcams and microphones without having to worry about video editing software.

Payment System 05/09
The ChristiansUK.com payment system is now working and trial members are rapidly signing up for full membership.
There are a wide range of payment plans to choose from ranging from £8 for one month only through to less than £5 per month for three months and down to £4.33 per month for the yearly subscription. This works out about one pound a week! So when you have completed your trial let the login page take you straight through and become a full member of our fast-growing community.
